I was playing around with the shapes in this one. It reminds me a bit of the car headlight's from 2 year's back. I really wish I'd darkened the photo a bit more so it looked more like the original.

So I began doing this with only 1 Caran D'Ache prismalo in prusian blue as an experiment. All that blue started to look too boring, so I used 5 colours in the end. It was a fun one to do.

First time working with this paper. I found the pigment goes down less evenly, but enjoyed working on coloured paper for a change. It definitely made this challenge easier.

The light was rubbish today. So I had to take a photo earlier, before I could finish it.
This was such a great picture to work on. I hope everyone enjoyed drawing it too.

What I really liked about this section of the photo are the sunbursts of light. They remind me of the first light on the day of the winter solstice.
There is still quite a bit of work to do on this. The lines need tidying up, plus more pink and blue. And slightly darker values (my photo's always seem to wash these out, they are always stronger on the original).
It was a fun one to draw.
