These young cows were more than happy to provide an appropriate background for the Cow Parsley...........

Happy cows in the meadow.
The first grass has also been mowed.
Good yield
It is still very dry!
Rain would be welcome.
Greetings Caroline and all the farm animals
Hiding behind a snow mound clicking away with the camera, a cow caribou stares in my direction. These two caribou were part of a herd of about 500 that were traversing Eagle Summit. It was a warm spring day and was nice to be able to photograph without shivering.
Taken during the fall, a cow Musk Ox walks past the photographer. Taken near Franklin Bluffs on the Sagavanirktok River, (Sag River for short), the sun was setting given a golden hue on the already yellow tundra.
The horns of the gal muskox are much thinner at the base and have a bigger gap between them. Guy muskoxen are bigger that females too, but they need to be standing side by side to easily see the difference. In the case of the bull photo posted yesterday vs. the cow here, the cow looks bigger. That's due to the further distance at which the bull was photographed and the angle of the pose.
Charlie has become quite intrigued with the cows down the road and now has to pause and watch for several minutes during our walk past.
I am wondering what he is thinking as he is looking at me. No, it is not my fault it is snowing so much.
I spotted this cow on a mound which was the same height as the hedge, it looked really strange. A passing motorist endorsed the idea of me taking a shot! ;o)
I didn't do any editing in Photoshop, even though it might appear so, this is just what it looked like! (See below).
usually they will bunch together, but this storm was actually not too violent... and they know. Cows know.
