I intentionally make the couple to blur so i focus on the flower. I think it's cute so i saved it and post it here:)

Just a couple minutes back on Highway 95 heading south after our stop at Tamarak Lumber mill, we stopped again to view this house and barn in a lovely Idaho valley. As you can see, Melody took a closer photo of the foreground house and barn than I did from the same vantage point. That photo taken 10 seconds later is in the next slide. In each shot you can see that Idaho has some wide open spaces, even when there are buildings present.
I was photographing this beach and pier and I had seen this couple coming down the beach for about 10 minutes. They couldn't let go of each other - spinning around, dancing, laughing. Finally they entered my viewfinder as I was about to take this shot.
They continued down the beach, continuing to play around with each other.
I found this couple the other day, mating.The male is much smaller, as you can see. This is when I realized that they are adults, since only adults are fertile and can mate. Later on, I also found a female laying eggs in the soil. It's a very vulnerable stage, where their abdomen is stuck very deep in the ground. Only their excellent camouflage can save them from predators, but humans can miss them and step on them...
