It was in Haripur, West Midnapore district in West Bengal.
Actually, it was taken just after the sunset with a Canon SX 130 IS in automode. As I was in a hurry and at the same time, I was not familiar with this camera ( I bought it a few days back), I had no other way but to try automode.
The beach was lonely then as usual in Haripur. Only a few villagers were loitering lazily. It was 6. 23 in the evening.The Sun disappeared around ten or twenty minutes back. The light was deeming gradually. I was eager to capture some good composition in the twilight.
All of a sudden, I saw the fishing boats in the lonely beach. There was no fisherman. Just after getting the boats, the sky made me mad. The colour of the sky was just amazing. Somewhere between light reddish and pale orange. The sea was very calm. The reflection of the unusual sky in the water was spectacular. It was so romantic!
Was in a hurry to get this thing so forgot to stabilize the camera during the shot... just love that look! ;)
Some shots from Christine and my 4th "couples roll". I started this roll by shooting on a roll of expired 800 ISO film on my Ricoh R1, then handing it off to Christine to shoot on top of.
