🇲🇫 Erbalonga est un ancien village de pêcheurs du Cap Corse , dans la commune de Brando dans le département français de la Haute-Corse , Corse . C'est le village côtier le plus au nord du Cap Corse, avec des routes vertigineuses et un maquis en pente au-delà.
Le village est connu depuis l'antiquité .À l'époque médiévale , Erbalunga a commencé à exporter du vin et de l'huile d'olive à partir du XIe siècle, devenant plus important comme centre commercial qu'Ajaccio ou Bastia.
La Tour gênoise d'Erbalonga du XVIe siècle , située sur un rocher en contrebas. la mer domine toujours le site. La tour partiellement ruinée porte une plaque datée de 1561.
🇬🇧 Erbalonga is a former fishing village in Cap Corse, in the commune of Brando in the French department of Haute-Corse, Corsica. It is the northernmost coastal village of Cap Corse, with dizzying roads and sloping maquis beyond. The village has been known since antiquity. In medieval times, Erbalunga began exporting wine and olive oil from the 11th century, becoming more important as a trading center than Ajaccio or Bastia. The Genoese Tower of Erbalonga from the 16th century, located on a rock below. the sea still dominates the site. The partially ruined tower bears a plaque dated 1561.
