After a very busy day that left me restless and uneasy, an evening spent in front of the wood stove with Silva, cosy socks and a cup of tea was all that I needed. :)
After a long, relaxing bath, Piggy flops down on the couch, eager for some quiet time. She can't wait for her phone date with Kermit later, and she's excited to snuggle up with a cupcake, a coffee, and some heart-to-heart talk.
I've used seven flower stems to create a cozy living room for Piggy.
This is my fourth contribution for Iron forge 2025 round 3, seed part Flower stem.
With 20% off designer wallpaper at Spoonflower here is my entry to The Vintage Nostalgia Kitchen Wallpaper Design Challenge, which is available for purchase now. I would appreciate your vote, starting tomorrow. This task was challenging for me as I have not seen too many vintage kitchen wallpapers, but I am hoping this represents some of the concept :) Enjoy the rest of the month of May 💛

Well, it get's the message across! You can't help but wonder if the company name is being subliminally played out in the graphics at it does have the feel of the 'protect & survive' leaflets doing the rounds in those Cold War days. Anyhow, the happy couple' and their cat are snug inside their home, free from not just cold and dust but gloom as well!
Jenny's in charge of the Christmas mantelpiece, so any changes I want to make are very strictly vetted! This year we had a new Santa, made by Kris.
My 'To Be Read' books have moved from a couple of shelves under the stairs, to a small bookcase, to a larger bookcase, to this one, which is the biggest we can get in the space. I really don't need to buy any more secondhand books for a l-o-n-g time!
This would have been clearer, I think, if I'd used a tripod and so I may re-take these sometime...
Using the tripod and remote cable this time. Outside the wind was howling (and round the door, if the truth be told!), but the stove was on and we were quite cosy. There's the usual pile of bags on top of my knitting basket and we didn''t take the Christmas hanging off the wall before I put up the new TBR bookcase...
Yes, actually new! Not like us! But it's just a nice size for leaving stuff on without it looking TOO cluttered!
