2020/3/13: Kitas, schools and public institutions have been closed in most German states. A good decision, but one that poses a huge problem for many parents. In Schleswig-Holstein there are 5 weeks in which no childcare is available. If these 5 weeks are taken by the parents with vacation days, the annual leave is gone. I hope for cooperative and accommodating employers or even better for governmental aid packages in the form of special leave/short time allowance or similar and support for self-employed parents. Otherwise, there will be self-organised childcare groups where the virus can happily spread further. And that is exactly what is not supposed to happen.

13.3.2020: In den meisten Bundesländern Deutschlands sind Kitas, Schulen und öffentliche Einrichtungen geschlossen worden. Eine vernünftige Maßnahme, die jedoch viele Eltern vor ein Riesenproblem stellt. In SH sind es 5 Wochen, in denen keine Kinderbetreuung zur Verfügung steht. Wenn diese 5 Wochen von den Eltern mit Urlaub bestritten werden, ist der Jahresurlaub weg. Ich hoffe auf kooperative und entgegenkommende Arbeitgeber oder noch besser auf staatliche Hilfspakete in Form von Sonderurlaub/Kurzarbeitergeld o.ä. und Unterstützung für selbstständige Eltern. Andernfalls wird es selbstorganisierte Kinderbetreuungsgruppen geben, in denen sich das Virus munter weiterverbreiten kann. Und gerade das soll ja nicht passieren.

मध्यप्रदेश में रात 11से सुबह 5 तक नाइट कर्फ्यू पूर्वत लागू रहेगा। समस्त कलेक्टर्स को सख्ती से निर्देशों का कड़ाई से पालन कराने के नए दिशा निर्देश जारी।
हालांकि कोरोना को लेकर इसके अलावा लगे सभी प्रतिबंध हटाये जाने की जानकारी मुख्यमंत्री ने ट्वीट कर दी है *प्रदेश में समस्त सामाजिक/ व्यवसायिक/सांस्कृतिक/राजनीतिक/धार्मिक/मनोरंजन/खेलकूद आदि मेले के आयोजन पूर्ण क्षमता से हो सकेंगे।समस्त स्कूल कॉलेज और क्षत्रावास /हॉस्टल भी पूर्ण क्षमता से चल सकेंगे/अंतिम संस्कार के लिए संख्या का प्रतिबंध नहीं रहेगा।

ওমিক্রন ভ্যারিয়েন্ট কেন এতোটা ভয়াবহ?
- ওমিক্রন ভ্যারিয়েন্ট মিউটেট করেছে ৫০ বার। আর এর স্পাইক প্রোটিন বদলেছে ৩২ বার। মানুষের দেহের মধ্যে ঢুকতে কোভিড ভাইরাস এই স্পাইক প্রোটিন ব্যবহার করে। এবং করোনার ভ্যাকসিন সাধারণত এই স্পাইক প্রোটিনকে লক্ষ্য করে তৈরি করা হয়।
- ভাইরাসের যে অংশটি প্রথম মানুষের দেহকোষের সঙ্গে সংযোগ ঘটায় তার নাম ‘রিসেপ্টার বাইন্ডিং ডোমেইন’। ওমিক্রন ভ্যারিয়েন্ট সেই রিসেপ্টার বাইন্ডিং ডোমেইনে মিউটেশন ঘটিয়েছে ১০ বার। সেই তুলনায় করোনার ডেল্টা ভ্যারিয়েন্টে এই পরিবর্তন হয়েছে মাত্র দু’বার।
- বিজ্ঞানীরা মনে করছেন, এ ধরনের মিউটেশন সম্ভবত একজন রোগীর দেহের জীবাণু থেকে এসেছে, যিনি এই ভাইরাসের সঙ্গে লড়াই করে টিকে থাকতে পারেননি।
