Here is another from my holiday in Corfu, taken at sunrise looking out over the Ionian Sea with mainland Greece in the distance. These wooden jetties are common place and make for a lovely subject. With the sun kissing the end of the jetty I had no option but to take the image and used a poloriser and ND64 to help smooth out the sea. I went abroad for the first time ever last week! To Corfu in Greece. Just got over the travel sickness from the plane! I have an actual tan!

I don't know how I managed this to be honest! I didn't have a tripod and I only took many photos to get a better chance at getting a good clear picture...then things got out of control! Photoshop didn't like this at all so I had to piece it all together myself...6 hours of my life. My laptop almost died from the size of this image!! :-D

The Liston is a popular street with many cafes under its portico - built by the French in the style of Rue de Rivoli, Paris.

This is an abandoned old stable located in the village Gastouri,Corfu,Greece.

I decided to keep the color of the door,because it seemed so vivid and was in total contrast with all the other features of the building.

The Monastery of Virgin Mary of Paleokastritsa is located in the Greek island of Corfu, 25 kilometers outside of the City of Corfu. The monastery, which spreads over two levels, presents an excellent showcase of Greek monastic architecture. Its origins date back to 1228, although much of today’s building was built during the 18th century.
