Who did not play with them in childhood? Helicopters, maple ā€˜copters, whirlybirds, twisters or whirligigs – no matter what you call a maple seed, they’re still an endless source of fascination.

The journey continue,,,this time by using copter. Anambas islands, Riau Indonesia.

We found them near a lake, having fun as it seems. ;-) Nature is so beautiful, it's absolutely amazing!

Growing on the Maple Trees this spring! I found out that these seeds are edible. So far this spring I have discovered 5 different things that grow wild in and around my yard that are edible. Amazing! Have a blessed day everyone and I will catch up with you all tomorrow as I am off to Roanoke today. :)

Speak of childhood memories!!!

Found under a tree in bonnie Scotland.

Maple trees (Acer) produce winged seeds called double samaras, which twirl to the ground in late summer or early fall.

They resemble helicopters in motion, earning them the common name of helicopters or whirligigs.

The seeds vary slightly in size and colouring among species, but all produce winged seeds affectionately called helicopters.

The innocent fun you could have with those twirly thingies, throwing them up, running after them (kept us fit!), guarding and treasuring your 'best' ones!

Used the ring flash on this.

Now, DO NOT rush out to get one of those!

It is not a priority, has quite 'limited' usage, is particular and specific and not the easiest to use!

I use it together with other sources of lighting, but that's my game, my challenge (obsession?) literally PLAYING and PAINTING with light.

Have a fun day and thank you, M, (*_*)

J6-AAQ, an Aerospatiale AS350B2 Ecureuil of St. Lucia Helicopters Limited, was departing its base at George F.L. Charles Airport at Castries, Saint Lucia.

I saw this interesting looking flight object out near the Eagle's nest in Avon Lake. I wonder if this is experimental? It's got tail numbers so I guess it's passed some type of certification, but you wouldn't get me up in that, no siree bob.

ON BLACK PLEASE*puppy dog face*

so this was fun to do..i put lip gloss on my hand and mascara and walla halima hand. haha.

I go to work at 3 and close tonight so i won't be here but i wanted to upload an early one. You can see the scar on my wrist..from my dad's suitcase and the one i peeled the scab many o time and now it's a scar..still itches and is kinda painful at times. I played dress up and i felt like alice in wonderland but my dad said i looked like a classic porn star because of my snocks up to my knees and my high heels..haha weirdo. Then i changed into this uber cute outift that was an inspirtation from a picture and i had the EXACT outfit hehe it was great. I went to late lunch with my dad, brother and my dads friend jan. Before i continue i must say..i went to get the mail and there was a letter for me from jonel, ooo boy was i so thrilled i couldn't stop smiling. he's so adorable, it's incredible how much in love i am with him. It's indescribable. anyways so i was in the car laughing, smiling from ear to ear, wind blowing in my hair. We ate at panera and my food was beyond yummy, and i got a cookie as well. it was fun i adore jan. She's on a no meat no grains diet..interesting. Work was sooo beyond slow it's not funny, but it was still fun at points, especially when we were cleaning up, and closing. When there were customers they were so nice and chill. I just love customers, they are so different and unique and my job. It's so chill. I'm about to write back jonel. Work again tomorrow. Everyday is a new day, new beginning, a new experience, something new to learn, just love it. Reading MoA(i decided to shorten it..don't kill me bahai's), makes me so happy and want to serve more, even doing a little is better than nothing. I want to do as much as i can, that will work around my work schedule. OK well off to bed. nighterz

i wasn't wearing earrings yet ahaha. there is another picture bellow

TRU $23.99. At lego.com it's $19.99. I guess not that bad of a price.

"Inspired by the short-lived Technic Arctic sets (circa 1986).

Namely, the 8640 Polar Copter set.

You can see some images of the built model here.

This model, like many of my models, uses some strange techniques to bend it's form into shape – therefore, structurally rather weak."
