Nuts and a lot of nuts, this is the cookie for nut lover (esp. my own brother and my dear). The name of the recipe is diamond but I find it’s better to cut the cookies into square because all the cookies will be presentable and you don’t have to finish the scrap (the triangle pieces, left from cutting) by yourself (even I don’t mind, I still think that you should cut into square). The cookies are sweet but it’s welcomed by brother who always says that my cake, cookies or etc. don’t sweet enough. I feel like eating candied nut with a cookie and it’s delicious (how can I like this sweet thing I don’t know, but it’s feel like a child to have a kind of cookie) The recipe came from Delicious Magazine issue June 08 (recipe by Belinda Jeffery), I make only half of the recipe (the recipe here is half of the original) and now my brother said that he want more.

Cookie shines are celebrated by all 230,000 Pi Phi members. They typically involve members gathering around a sheet laid out on the ground covered in candies and cookies formed in the shapes of Pi Phi symbols.
I chose to bake cookies today and as I sat there and watched my daughter and smelled the aroma of sweet chocolate fill the air, a tear came to my eye. On days when so much is going on we sometimes forget to stop and look around and appreciate the simple things. Elaborate cakes and cupcakes sometimes don't bring the same smile as simple and sweet chocolate chip cookies.
classic cookies and cream cupcakes. since it was for an anniversary party, they opted to go without the cookie wedges. hope it still looks good enough to eat.
Such a basic cookie, but so many people love them (including me!). These are probably my second most requested cookies, in fact this is already the 4th time I've made them this year.

Skull and question mark cookies for class. Trying to make them feel like you're not meant to eat them. Tasted pretty good though.

I did manage to get up this morning and make cookies. Cookies that I've been meaning to make for two weeks. Cookies that almost didn't happen because Bella (literally) tore into the bag of sugar and made a mess of my dining room. Thankfully, I had another bag of sugar in the fridge.
Christmas cookies for 2014. I got a very late start, so I didn't have time to come up with a unique design. The penguin cookies were inspired by a Google images picture, which turned out to be from an iPad case, of which I later found a great photo. The reindeer cookies are courtesy of a Sugarbelle guest post. Overall, I wish that I had coordinated the color scheme better, but it was a rush job. :)

Cookie day 2009. I picked up all the cookies for our troop and here they are. We almost didn't have enough room. You can see where Bella is sitting in the back of the truck. I had her raise her hand so you can see where she is.
Sorting grass was extremely time consuming, so I hired these three lovely ladies to help me sort my grass samples in order to finish in time. Cookies, music, and tea were a great help for tedious tasks like this. The cookies in particular were highly appreciated.
Sophie went to a cookie decorating party at her friend Greta's house this weekend. It was, um, interesting to see a sugar high simultaneously kick in with seven or eight kindergarteners.
There are a lot of the chocolate chip cookie recipes, but I think this one is quite interesting. It takes so little time for shaping these cookies, because after mixing the dough all you have to do is put the dough in the pan and bake, no need to use a lot of equipments, no need to shape in to portion. The recipe comes from my own magazine collection: Martha Stewart Living -Holiday Party Foods (Special Issue December 2003), so old right? But I believe good recipe never grow out of date. As always I reduce the sugar amount in the recipe but if you use only nut in the recipe you may increase the sugar amount to 100g (or not up to your taste).
