Served at our recent Progressive Party.

Recipe on Cook & Eat

Seems like a great shot to add to the Still Life With Share & Share Alike pool, as this is what I made for a recent neighboorhood party. The only problem was I only made about 1 for each person, and needed many, many more!

It took me a while to get this shot right with the honey dripping. There wasn't much light in the room, so to get the spoon sharp while I was holding it means I was pretty limited on shutter speed, and had to raise the ISO some. Luckily, the 5D does pretty well at higher ISO speeds. I wish I had gotten rid of the wrinkle in the background. It would have been pretty easy to do in Photoshop even after the fact, but I forgot before I posted it and well, now it's here!

I also think that it might have been a bit nicer with all the balls in focus... the top one is a bit too soft. But, I love the overall light in the shot.

didn't buy, but learned how to cook it.

Take the bag, dump in boiling water. Cook 3 min. Then put over cold water 1 min. Drain & squeeze water out. Chop up & eat it - taste like spinach.
