...from that. 😀
So, what do we have here as "ingredients" for your story: An electric scooter with with polka dotted weather protection for the driver. Long johns hanging from a goods trolley. All in front of a 24-hour convenience store in the middle of a cold spring night. Now let your imagination run wild...

Fall in my "Sun" garden.
For convenience of maintenance and gardening, I divided my garden into two areas that I called, respectively, The Sun and The Moon, according to their position above the garden and seasonal movement in the sky.
Out of one,and into another.Unless you have to step out to get a bite to eat.The shot was taken on 34th St in Manhattan. The old yellow building to the far left is 36 W34th St,it was built around 1885.The famous NYC Astor family owned brownstone mansions on this block and this building was one of them.If you zoom in on the two dormer windows on the top floor, there are four Aladdin-type urns above them which have been there since the building's construction.

cellphone, I think of life before there was a cellphone with such a charming facility. We can do full work in a day without information interruption. After having a cellphone, we are sometimes too happy and enjoy to forget the time to do work ....
sometimes technology can make it easier for us to imprison us too. "... we can be wise with what is in our environment ..."
I was focusing on my favorite convenience store to photograph and I saw a biker coming into the frame and I decided to include him in the composition. I was really happy with the results even though the punctum of this photograph —what Roland Barthes defines as the aspect of an image that moves a viewer in a deep or emotional way— was intended to be the dimly lit Parklaine Variety sign.
This is the beauty of photography; one often arrives with a specific goal in mind but it is often the accidents or unplanned events that make an image stand out.
MNPCH is on the home stretch of its' 700+ mile journey from North Platte to Clearing Yard in the city as it traverses IHB trackage towards its destination. Here it ducks under the BNSF Racetrack in La Grange, and leading today is the UP 1988, the MKT heritage unit.
I decided to call it a chase after getting 4014 crossing the bridge over I-294 at Thornton, and was making my way towards Russell's BBQ in Elmwood Park (it was ok) when Mark checked ATCS and saw it lined south. Came into La Grange with no more than 5 minutes to get set up and wait.

Corner shop after dark, quick handheld snap with the phone while waiting for the pedestrian crossing
When I got up this morning and let the dog out for morning business I could see some nice warm light through the trees. So decided the morning two-mile walk with my dog would be a little earlier today and grabbed the camera.
This was taken while on the way to the local park and I liked the lighting from the local stores against the dawn sky.
My schnauzer was excited as he was able to go off sidewalk with me when I usually tell him not to chase after the squirrels. Liked how this scene framed up with the trees.
Taken handheld as I was not walking with the dog and tripod ;)
It's funny when a photo you think is pretty average in the scheme of things becomes one of the most viewed! I like this but think I have better in my photostream, yet it's by far my most viewed picture! How strange! Maybe it's because it stands out in a small view because of the red.
