Stopped by the remote controlled airfield for short time for the first time in quite a while. A friend of mine was flying a few of the 31 planes he owns. Only got photos of 2 of them while there, the first two red ones and the last six photos here. Fun watching how skillful these pilots are doing aerial maneuvers, takeoffs and landings. I always send any photos I take for them to post on their club site. Sorry for so many photos, just saving to my album. :-)

This work symbolize the treason when I was a teenager.
It has two layers ,the black yarn with pattern outside and the pink satin inside.
The black one implies the pressure from everybody's expectance and the pink one implies the pure and real me in my mind.
The irregular skirt shows that when I tried to escape from pressure, I ruined my skirt (hurt myself).
Close up of the controls for channel 1. Each channel has pretty much the same control layout. The only difference between this channel and the other two (in terms of controls) is that here you can select between "Clean" and "Pushed" instead of the three modes "Raw", "Vintage" and "Modern" for channels 2 and 3.
More experimenting with my off-camera flash, this time using my old 18-55mm kit lens due to my Sigma 30mm only going down to f/16. I needed to overpower daylight and use a higher power on my flash than normal, meaning on my Sigma 30mm it was way overexposed!
This is by far the best of the set, rest of them were off-camera as I was doing it all myself (I'm holding the glass just off-frame, and using my other hand to take the picture).
Each of us have a dominant side. In times of happiness we have a more vulnerable side, in darker times a more ruthless side. Sometimes, one side can...take over. Which "self control"s you ?

Looking across the mouth of the Cooks River over at the old control tower along with the popular planespotting site, The Beach. I was worried that the planes would be a bit too close for me to photograph with my large lens, so I stuck to the Mascot rock jetty. Not to mention walking over to The Beach would've added ten minutes to my walk all the way from Banksia railway station.
