Now that I can reliably both open and close Photoshop without doing any appreciable damage, I sometimes want to go back and clean up older images that I didn't handle very well at the time.
This is a revisit of an earlier shot (now deleted) of the fencing at the entrance to the Cyclone roller coaster in Coney Island. I'm trying to keep this one from being a maze of blown-out brights and savage darks; in my head it's always been a shot of middle ground.

I'm not too keen on this picture but I'm glad I tried something a little different. The first reason for this picture is that I think I took too many indoor pictures recently, and wanted something more refreshing. Second reason is that I took too many close-ups and wanted something with more space! And the third and last reason is that my life has been turned upside-down in the last couple of months, and I need to be reminded that I'm the only one who can take control and do what makes me happy.
