I love the colours and the whimsical style in this card, called teaparty-tan. And I just love tea and cakes.

My entry to TTV's BIONICLE Canon Contest 1: The First, in which participants build Helryx.
As the first ever Toa, Helryx may lack polish, but she's built to get the job done.
I imagine early Toa, such as the Toa Mata, were designed with a particular fighting style in mind. Later Toa have more refined frames well suited to a variety of fighting styles. Going with this idea, I made Helryx asymmetrical to fit her equipment. Helryx's large weapon arm lets her deal strong blows with her mace. The shoulder and knee armor on her mace side protect her when she swings. Helryx's other side features lighter armor since her large shield covers it. Even her shield is asymmetrical for a reason; it tapers toward the bottom, exposing Helryx's leg so she can quickly advance with her shield up.
The torso breaks down into three pieces. Here's how they fit together. To get a sense of how the head fits on, see the "neck breakdown" image.

Hello,
Here is all the information requested for my entry for
the Fabulous Stationery Contest.
a: Jill Cavanaugh
b: mylescavanaugh.com
c: The name of the card that I chose is Duet. I
chose this card because I loved the softness of all
the colors together and the simplicty of the image.
It inspired me to try and create this same feeling and
look in my own living space.
d: For each of these rooms I incorporated the colors
from the card so as to keep the same palate and feel.
Thanks again for this contest - it was so much fun to
do!

lyrics:
I feel my nails rip my flesh.
I feel I’ve gone insane.
I never wanted to hurt you.
But you made me this way.
So now I know I’m crazy.
I feel there’s no more pain.
These voices call out to me.
They’re screaming out my name.

I choose the card Mod Butterfly in Orange. I wanted to do a kid's theme & I felt this card would be perfect for that.
I love the colors of this design & the butterflies give it a sweet touch with out it being overly childish.

This is my entry in the whittling contest at the Lebanon, TN Spring class. The assignment was to carve a representation of a holiday other than Christmas.
I found out about this contest about a week ago, purely by chance. Entering it was a whim at first, but then became a bit of an obsession. It's probably just as well I didn't find out about it earlier. :>)
Regardless of the outcome I'm really glad I decided to do this. Everything is about the first few steps!
My three entries can be seen near/before this image in my photostream. In the order they were taken, earliest first:
JoeWolf1 ("Reflections, ICA/Boston")
JoeWolf2 ("Snoozing Under the Lifeguard Tower, Oceanside CA")
JoeWolf3 ("Winter Sunrise Over the Oceanside Pier")
This Is the pic we decided to submit into the contest. They already have the first batchs finalists. If we make it we would make it to the Second Finalists. Same pic except for the logo. Thanks to everyone for there support and well keep you posted if we make it!!!!!!
Thanks from Rosy and I!
