This was a well executed hide. There was a magnet holding the cache in place. The cache even had an engraved plaque indicating the container was a geocache. I was quite impressed by this drive by cache. Well worth the stop.

Etwas überrascht waren wir heute morgen auf der A8. Da hatte wohl eine
LKW, rund 500 Meter vor usn einen seiner zwei Container verloren. Der
ist dann etwas Bergabwärts gerutscht und dann schräg in der Leitplanke
hängen geblieben. Hat etwas Stau verursacht, zu Schaden gekommen scheint
keiner, der Fahrer war gerade ausgestiegen und sicherte die
Unglücksstelle. Da war ich dann doch froh nicht direkt hinter ihm
gefahren zu sein...

Two tier container. I made tamago yaki (eggs, green onions, MSG, and sugar), 2 gyoza (frozen, cooked the night before thus very soggy, no sauce), cherry tomatoes, pickled cucumbers (asazuke type), lots of white rice, furikake, and an umeboshi (squished to make it fit!).
Unseen are my ready to eat chawanmushi (egg custard) and instant miso packets.
If you are a geocacher, you will understand what this little cammoed container is. Geocaching is also a scavenger hunt but you get the longitude and latitude of the hidden object so you can navigate to it using your cell phone or a GPS receiver. Inside is a small log sheet that you can sign to prove that you found it. It is hidden in a tree on the Marginal Way, a beautiful ocean path that winds along the rocky coast of Maine.
