The delivery guy said he thought the flooring was 3/4-inch plywood screwed into metal cross members. ( I peeked underneath.) It's actually 1 1/8-inch mahogany plywood.

A laden container ship makes its way up the Firth of Clyde on a hazy summers evening between Arran and Little Cumbrae with the mull of kintyre in the background.

The modern intrusion on this ancient landscape provides some regular hard shapes within the softness of the evening hills and the natural cliffs on the southern end of little cumbrae, late enough in the evening to mute the colours and flatten the summer sky.
