The site originally housed a Sears, which opened on August 12th, 1970 and closed on June 28th, 2003. The building was demolished in October 2003.

Here are my three containers of flowers and a couple edibles. These things get full sun pretty much all day long, and they really don't show a ton of wear and tear. The Johnny Jump-ups in the left-most pot were accidental transplants from Bolingbrook...in other words, they seeded themselves in the soil I brought over and took over this pot.
