Consulate General of India in collaboration with Insight for Creativity organized a special Hindi Poetry oriented inspiring and entertaining evening “Rang Darpan” to celebrate the rainbow of colors in the Hindi language. Consul General Mr. Sandeep Chakravorty gave his welcome remarks to the gathering. Combination of expressions in Hindi was presented by Mr. Ashok Vyas along with talented poets and artists which added colour to the evening. The poets for the evening were: Mr. Jaideep, Ms. Bindu Agrawal, Mr. Anoop Bhargava, Ms. Susham Bedi, Dr. RD S. Sethi, Ms. Swadesh Rana, Mr. Ashok Singh, Ms. Seema Khurana . Yogacharya Dr. Dayashankar Vidyalankar also recited his poetry along with the other poets.

The British Consulate-General in Boston hosted a traditional Burns Night Supper at the Consul General's Residence on 18 January 2024. The dinner was supported by Scottish Development International, Scottish Government USA, DBT Scotland, Scottish Financial Enterprise, Scots in New England, NH Scots, and National Trust for Scotland USA.

In Disaster Program Manager for the Red Cross Tampa Bay chapter and Latino Engagement Team Member Jose Bueno's office sits his Presidential Award from the Red Cross. He won the Presidential Award of Excellence from the Red Cross in 2015 for his work with the Red Cross Home Fire Campaign.
The Home Fire Campaign was created the year before and aimed to make homes safer by installing smoke alarms, sharing fire safety, and creating escape plans with residents. Bueno had the highest number of engagements, smoke alarm signups and installs, and active volunteers and partners who completed the campaign that year.
