Shanghai... what a spot to have a consulate.. of interest is the direction of the satellite dishes - they are all pointing in an easterly direction... wonder why the Russians chose to park their satellite there?

Tip: Don't try to take a photo of a government buildings in 3rd world countries unless you enjoy having security waving AK-47's in my face to keep you moving.
Rebuilt former US Embassy, Saigon. Not much of the original Embassy remains and people are not allowed to take pictures of the Consulate Office. I got lucky.

The US Consulate General's residence in Düsseldorf is a great place to schmooze. However, the fact that the Consulate General, with whom we had an appointment, wouldn't see us reflects poorly on the United States.
