Vanaf een opening in het toegangshek heb ik de eerste zijmuren van de nieuwe sporthal van het OBC in Bemmel (De Heister) vastgelegd.
Gisteren fotografeerde ik hier al een metselaar en een betonmolen.
Op de voorgrond stonden een feloranje bestelbus (links) en een knalgele betonsilo (rechts), die visueel afleidden van de grijze constructie. Daarom koos ik voor zwart-wit. Hierdoor ligt de nadruk sterker op de opgetrokken muren en hun structuur. De bus en silo zijn licht onscherp.

🇬🇧 From a gap in the entrance fence, I photographed the first side walls of the new sports hall at OBC Bemmel (De Heister).
Yesterday, I captured a bricklayer and a concrete mixer at the same site.
A bright orange van on the left and a vivid yellow cement silo on the right distracted from the grey construction, so I opted for black and white. This emphasizes the shape and structure of the rising walls. The van and silo are slightly out of focus.

Well, good news for the perhaps relatively few fans of this waterfall that's at the end of the parking lot, before you start up the stairs into the gorge.
You used to have to go up as far as you could go to get even this kind of picture and then backtrack to the parking lot and go up, but there are steps and a walk almost ready so you can move up and to the the right of this point and see a bit more of the upper part of this falls, then go right into the stairway/cave.
I shot this at 1/60th because I liked the color of the scruffy leaves on the right. The wind was blowing them all around in my slow shutter shot.
Also new-to-me -- Apparently the parks people have now given up on the carry in-carry out concept. There are now 3 shiny chained down garbage cans on the walkways in the gorge.
You all better get down here! They will probably close off the gorge in a little over a month.
