Walking through Tashkent, I stumbled upon this surreal sight: a crane parked on top of a partially demolished building. I still can't figure it out. How did it get up there? And more importantly — what happens when it starts breaking the floor beneath its own weight?
Urban transformation often brings strange scenes, but this one truly had me scratching my head. A balancing act between demolition and danger — or just another day on the job?
A worker is seen finishing some roofing in this shot. It was a very cold, windy, day and he’s covered up. Shot with my iPhone 12 at 5X digital (?) zoom.

The collage works from the bottom left to the top left, so anti clockwise from the bottom.
Some of the photos are a bit lopsided as I was taking them through a chicken wire fence.
