During this two-year project, HRSD and Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation are renovating Woodstock Park, including the pavilions, parking, park restroom, and playground as well as building a cutting-edge skate facility for all skill levels on top of a 5.2 million gallon offline wet weather storage tank. Building an underground tank in this area of Virginia Beach allows HRSD to safely hold excess wastewater and rain/groundwater in the system until elevated conditions in the sewer system subside. The partnership also allows VBPR to carry out significant park renovations simultaneously and share the costs with HRSD, ultimately saving taxpayer dollars.

As part of "2014 - Year of the Bus" Transport for London and London General opened up Stockwell Bus Garage to the public on Saturday 21st June 2014.
Stockwell Garage was designed by architects Adie Button & Partners and opened in 1952 as part of London Transport's massive post-war plan to replace South London's trams with buses and to renew and standardise its bus fleet on the RT-type. It's most outstanding feature is the concrete barrelled roof, which at the time of construction was the largest unsupported roof area in the world and left beneath it a completely unobstructed floor area capable of accommodating 200 buses. It is considered to be one of the most architecturally significant structures of its time, is the only operational bus garage in the UK with Grade II listing and still attracts worldwide visitors.
