This was another shot, where I have to hide myself from bird nest. She was keep coming and checking the spot for any invaders, finally I walked away when she was hovering above and came back after she left and hide behind trees and vegetation. I was merely 20 feet from the nest, thank god that I had zoom with me, otherwise it would be very difficult to keep the whole action in frame. Well, it was worth the effort!

One of the feature attraction when you visit this place, is the diver, who will perform this feast for you for a small fee. Make sure that you have your camera focused and ready to take many quick shots! It is interesting to see the technique of this diver to control where and how to land at the right spot.

This image was made by merging about 30+ shots, some of which were to construct the sequence of the diver, and then merged the final one with another panorama image of this scene.

" The time of war is almost over, now the time to rebuild is come. Well, to build for us, since we lost everything, including our old home. We live since a month now in an old fishing village, surrounded by cliffs and mountains. Yesterday, me and the council decided to call our little town Greyhaven. And that same day, our worked finished the construction of a defensive wall. Everyone has a house now. Greyhaven is ready to expend"

Considered to be the most emotional work of architecture of André Soares, the Basilica or Church is located in the union of parishes of São José de São Lázaro and São João do Souto. Built in the 16th century (but not finished before the 20th century), this Baroque / Rococo monument includes the statues of St. Philip of Néri and St. Martin of Dume on the facade.

The Convent, also known as Convento da Congregação de S. Filipe de Néri was erected by the Congregation of the Oratory that was invited by Canon João de Meira Carrilho. During the 18th century, this convent was enlarged when the basilica was constructed and another pavement was added to the original building.

The College completes this set of the religious heritage of Braga.

According to the Willoughby District Historical Society & Museum, “the large castle-like building was constructed from sandstone quarried on site and features a crenellated tower on the northern side, three-stories high with a separate staircase that two maids used for their quarters. Each corner is graced by a solid stone circular turret and the exterior walls are two feet thick. The interior joinery is of cedar with seven foot doorways and ceilings 14 feet high. The decoration has a strong Federation theme with many Australian wildflowers depicted in the plaster and stained glass. Willis named his creation Innisfallen Castle after a ruined abbey at Killarney, Ireland.”

Slip Cover 1838 was designed as a place where warships could be constructed under cover. No 3 Slip was one of Europe's largest wide span structures when it was built. In 1904 the slipway was filled in and this mezzanine floor erected to store ships boats. Today it is a very rare survivor of a type of building designed and built by naval architects and Royal Engineers around the world and is one of The Historic Dockyard's architectural gems.

Built in 1838, the immense covered slip was, when built, the largest wide span timber structure in Europe. No.3 Slip stands at the cusp of technological change, its amazing cantilever roof was built to the design of shipwright Sir Robert Seppings. It features a gracefully curved ‘apse’ at its landward end, designed to accommodate a ship’s bow. Although buildings of this kind were constructed around the world, 3 Slip is now a rare survival.

Today 3 Slip is home to a vast array of epic objects and vehicles from the Chatham Historic Dockyard Trust, Royal Engineers Museum, Library and Archive and Imperial War Museum collections.

The Historic Dockyard Chatham is a maritime museum on part of the site of the former royal/naval dockyard at Chatham in Kent, South East England.

Chatham Dockyard covered 162 hectares and was one of the Royal Navy's main facilities for several hundred years until it was closed in 1984. After closure the dockyard was divided into three sections. The easternmost basin was handed over to Medway Ports and is now a commercial port, although the landowner plans to close it in 2025. Another slice was converted into a mixed commercial, residential and leisure development. 32 hectares, comprising the 18th-century core of the site, was transferred to a charity called the Chatham Historic Dockyard Trust and is now open as a visitor attraction. It claims to be the world's most complete dockyard of the age of sail.

English Electric Class 40 diesel locomotive D345/40145 is seen at Nemesis Rail, Burton-on-Trent.

D345 was the first locomotive of the final 54 class 40's, constructed with centre-headcode panels, entering traffic on the 17th of May 1961 with BR Eastern Region where it remained allocated throughout. The loco was converted from vacuum only to dual brakes in September 1969 and became 40145 under the TOPS system in January 1974.

Damage sustained in a derailment at Stourton Yard, Leeds saw 40145 withdrawn from the 10th of June 1983. 40145 was the first of the seven class members to be secured for preservation

The Riverside Drive Viaduct, built in 1900 by the US City of New York, was constructed to connect an important system of drives in Upper Manhattan by creating a high-level boulevard extension of Riverside Drive over the barrier of Manhattanville Valley to the former Boulevard Lafayette in Washington Heights.

F. Stuart Williamson was the chief engineer for the municipal project, which constituted a feat of engineering technology. Despite the viaduct's important utilitarian role as a highway, the structure was also a strong symbol of civic pride, inspired by America’s late 19th-century City Beautiful movement. The viaduct’s original roadway, wide pedestrian walks and overall design were sumptuously ornamented, creating a prime example of public works that married form and function. An issue of the Scientific American magazine in 1900 remarked that the Riverside Drive Viaduct's completion afforded New Yorkers “a continuous drive of ten miles along the picturesque banks of the Hudson and Harlem Rivers.”[1]

The elevated steel highway of the viaduct extends above Twelfth Avenue from 127th Street (now Tiemann Place) to 135th Street and is shouldered by masonry approaches. The viaduct proper was made of open hearth medium steel, comprising twenty-six spans, or bays, whose hypnotic repetition is much appreciated from underneath at street level. The south and north approaches are of rock-faced Mohawk Valley, N.Y., limestone with Maine granite trimmings, the face work being of coursed ashlar. The girders over Manhattan Explore - #40

Street (now 125th Street) were the largest ever built at the time. The broad plaza effect of the south approach was designed to impart deliberate grandeur to the natural terminus of much of Riverside Drive’s traffic as well as to give full advantage to the vista overlooking the Hudson River and New Jersey Palisades to the west.

The viaduct underwent a two-year long reconstruction in 1961 and another in 1987. (source: Wikipedia)
