With the tubes safely disarmed, here's a view inside the Warp Silo. You can just about make out some of the spare torpedo racks on the right of the frame.

This is where the switches, not pushing a button as is commonly believed, to actually launch the missiles is located. I often wondered why the lower ranking person got to launch the things, but then realized...hey! If the world gets destroyed and someone wants to be critical about it, the commander can point the blame on his deputy..."He did it! Not me."
This is my first NES Console. I loved how the controllers turned out. This was a new chocolate cake recipe that I was trying out for getting structures. It wasn't quite what I expected but the client was still more than happy (it's just the cake maker that sees what's wrong :) ). I hope I get to try this one again soon.
Of course my eye was caught by this console at the Apollo/Saturn V Centre Control Room Experience :-)

Yes, I know most of the images are blured and out of focus. You try taking photos in a mostly dark room with lots of people standing all around you by holding the camera up in the air as far as you can reach to reach over everybody, their raised hands and their cameras and try to aim steadily ... :-)

NärCon is a convention held annually in Örebro (a city in the landscape of Närke), Sweden, with focus on everything gaming and anime (cards, boards, roleplaying, consoles, cosplays, computers, figures, models, you name it). Basically a lot of fun stuff continuously over three days.

Vostok Navigation Console,
Each Vostok spacecraft was flown remotely from Mission Control on Earth - the cosmonauts did not control the flight. This console gave the spacecraft's position over the Earth - the small globe rotated as the spacecraft orbited.

Salvaged/reclaimed 1940's bowling ball holding rack from a demolished bowling alley in Riverside, IL. I used this as a shoe holder. Perfect for the foyer area. I had a large piece of tempered glass cut to size to create a top surface, yet clear so that you can still the the amazing piece below...instant console table!
This is a work I make when I bump into an unusual, huge wooden board.
In this sculpture, it is chestnut from central Italy, an area called Marche, and I named it "Bestia Marchigiana", also because it reminds me of some animal back, maybe a bull back.
It has three legs in aluminium alloy casting, which are removable for easier shipping.
How can a bull have only three legs? because he is very furious and one of them is ready to kick.
