I spotted this at the children's consignment store, when shopping with Rose. I had Ben stop by on his way home and pick it up for my 26th birthday. I have to have anything British I can find.
It was kind of expensive, being from a consignment store, but it was about a third of the 'new' cost. Plus I don't think you can find it new in stores anymore.
This is a Bratz phone box. I'm not a fan of Bratz, but I hope that one day Rose will have some dolls that will fit in here.
Baby boy has some Robeez!
Went to a consignment store today and got these $37 boots for $10. Really they should have been $5, because there was a "50% off shoes" sign. But when I went to pay, I was told these weren't included in the sale, because they're so expensive. Oh well, I bought them anyway. :P
I've never seen Robeez anywhere second hand (well, except ebay) and I do a lot of thrift shopping. These are 0-6 months and will be wonderful for the cold WI weather this winter. Here's hoping baby boy has small feet like Rose, so these will last a long time. Rose has been wearing the same Starchild shoes since September.
These seem to be my favourite 'boy colours'. More boy shoes!
These were half price at the consignment store. I can't find a brand name on them. Size 2.
I also got some clothes, including a 6-9 month Carter's sleeper, original tags still on. Price: $1.75, on sale.
I’m participating in a fun 12-month challenge at Clickin Moms called “The Way I View”. Each month a group of 12 CM photographers interpret that month’s theme through photographs, then link to each other’s blogs.
July’s theme is The Way I View: Summer Time.
One day, Jenny and I took Anna to Once Upon a Child as a reward for good behavior. This is her favorite place to go. She has so many baby dolls and she loves dressing them in real baby clothes. We usually hit up Goodwill but every once in a while, we’ll go to this consignment store as a treat. She loves looking at all the toys, gear, and clothes.
American white picket fence. British phone booth.
Consignment store birthday gift from Benjamin. I picked it out myself.
The vibe you get when you browse in a consignment store - and then you go home and try to clear the decks. ;-)

I turned the corner and found two amused little boys listening to their mom's explanation of how this vintage potty "chair" had been constructed especially for little boys - hence the duck head in the front. 😉
Nope, it didn't come with a potty bowl to underneath the "cover.," but it could be yours for $39.

The view of the store from our entrance. We're well organized and easy to shop, even with strollers and the kiddies in tow!
A vintage, cast iron (it was heavy!), piggy bank, once used as an advertising give-away by the Wm. Moland's Sons Quaker City Ham company - now a consignment store find. :-)
