A lovely high-end consignment store that I've been known to spend vast amounts at. Staff loves me and lets me use the room as a photo set.
How to Wash A Cat
- Put both the lid and seat of the toilet up and add 1/8 cup of pet shampoo to the water in the bowl.
- Soothe the cat as you carry it to the bathroom.
- In one smooth movement, put the cat in the toilet and close the lid. You may need to stand on the lid.
- At this point, the cat will self-agitate and make ample suds. Never mind the noises that come from the toilet as the cat is actually enjoying this.
- Flush the toilet three or four times. This will provide a "Power Wash and Rinse."
- Have someone open the front door of your home. Be sure that there are no people between the bathroom and the front door.
- Stand well back behind the toilet, as far as you can, then lift the lid.
- The cat will rocket out of the toilet, shoot through the bathroom and run outside where it will dry itself off.
- Both cat and toilet will be sparkling clean.

Comment laver un chat
- Relevez le couvercle et le siège des toilettes et ajoutez 1/8 de tasse de shampoing pour animaux de compagnie à l'eau de la cuvette.
- Prenez le chat et apaisez-le pendant que vous le portez à la salle de bain.
- D'un mouvement fluide, mettez le chat dans les toilettes et fermez le couvercle. Vous devrez peut-être vous tenir debout sur le couvercle.
- À ce stade, le chat va s'agiter et faire beaucoup de mousse. Peu importe les bruits qui viennent des toilettes car le chat en profite vraiment.
- Tirez la chasse d'eau trois ou quatre fois. Cela fournira un "lavage et rinçage".

66/121. One man's junk is another man's treasure
My leather chairs in the display window of the local furniture consignment shop. While they are by no means "junk", I have moved to a smaller home and have no use for decorative uncomfortable furniture! I was pleased the shop featured them in the window ... and when I walked by later in the day, they were gone! A treasure for someone else ...
From a few years ago at my favorite consignment shop. The woman who owns the shop recognized me immediately from a few months before which made me feel very welcome! We had such a ball trying on things and playing dress up. I tried on 2 short dresses, a long ball gown, 2 skirt & blouse outfits, and a vintage nightie. I ended up buying one of the blouses and the vintage nightie and she threw in for free one of the skirts I tried on that she thought looked perfect on me! Yay! She said I won the prize as her cutest shopper of the day!
I went consignment store shopping which is always fun. I like those stores because you can find really unusual and nice things you don't see in regular retail shops. I had tried on some dresses in this one shop and nothing really tickled my fancy enough to buy, but 2 of the dresses were pink so the lovely lady who owned the shop noticed and asked if pink was my favorite color. I said it is yet I don't really have too many dresses in pink for some reason. She said to wait a minute and that someone had brought in some dresses the day before and one of them was a pink prom dress. She came back with this pink Tiffany prom dress so I tried it on and it fit me very nicely. There was no price tag on it and she said it had just come in and didn't price it yet. She looked up what the woman wanted for it which was too much in both of our opinions. She had the number of the woman who had brought it in for resale so she called her up and said she had someone interested in it and asked if she would consider less for it. She let me talk to the woman on the phone and she told me it was her daughters prom dress and was expensive new and in good condition. I tried to barter with her for less money but was pretty firm. After we hung up with her the woman from the store explained that people tend to ask to much for sentimental clothing pieces and usually she puts it out for the requested price but after it is out in the store for a week or two they agree to lower the price to sell it. So I gave the woman my information and she promised to call me if the consignee lowered the price at all which she was pretty sure would happen. It was a dream to try on and wear for a few minutes and I am hoping that the price does come down a little bit!

Yet another consignment of coal arrives for tipping onto the conveyors for washing and grading at RMU Banovici's Oskova washery during the busy evening of 24th February 2015, as 760mm gauge Czech (ČKD 1949-built) industrial 0-6-0 tank No.25-30 rattles down the grade into the tipping shed, with the wagon discharge team, overseen by management, standing by and ready to swing back into action following a brief break.
