A several hundred year old stone footbridge that crosses the Alzette river. It connects the Siechentor gate tower with the Eichertor gate tower. When Luxembourg was still a fortress, the bridge was part of the outer fortress wall and was equipped with embrasures.

The beach of Kolona is basically a narrow strip of land that connects Kythnos to the islet of Agios Loukas. However, it has a particular charm, partly due to its fine, golden sand and the sea lapping at both of its sides.

Just a weird and crooked tree that has been topped and decided it will grow downwards into the earth and connect with the decaying bushes. The sky was clear and the water in the distance super still so wanted to create a dramatic shot with this wonderful tree dominating the frame. Heel veel treinen werden er vandaag niet op de foto gezet. In totaal vier leuke en noemenswaardige. Maar het was vooral een gezellige dag. Veel gekletst in de tijd dat er gewacht moest worden. En eindelijk kan deze loc van het lijstje af. Hier de fraaie loc met een Rzepin shuttle naar Tilburg Industrie. De foto geeft wel goed de droogte van de zomer van 2022 weer. En de sproeier rechts doet de rest. Dijkerhoek, 4 september 2022.

Juma Mosque (Uzbek: Juma masjid / Жума масжид, lit. 'Friday Mosque') is a 10th–18th century mosque in Khiva, Uzbekistan. It is one of the principal monuments of Itchan Kala, the walled old city of Khiva, which is a World Heritage Site. It stands in the middle of Itchan Kala, on the road connecting the west gate (Ota darvoza) and the east gate (Polvon darvoza). The mosque was first documented in the 10th century, but it was rebuilt in 1788.

It is a large one-story brick building with a flat roof, supported by 212 wooden columns in 17 rows. Its total size is 55 x 46 m, and its minaret is 42 m high.

This seemingly forgotten footbridge has been overgrown by the summer's brush.

The Delray Connecting emerges out of the hell that is Zug Island with finished steel, coke, and other shit to be interchanged with CN at South Yard in Ecorse. In the background is Belanger interlocking which is still protected by DT&I searchlights. Although most of the hot mill operations at the Great Lakes Works have been indefinitely idled since 2020, steel processing and coke production continue at the plant, for now.
