University of St Andrews, Scotland
St Andrews was founded in 1413. It is the oldest of universities of Scotland and the third-oldest university in the English-speaking world, following the universities of Oxford and Cambridge.
It was absolutely freezing outside! The windchill was in the teens, but we had to get this shot. Matt and Devon were good sports:) I would have normally used a softbox in this situation, but since we were freezing I went with the umbrella to make sure I had the shot I wanted as quickly as possible.

Today, I had a certification exam of a database administrator. I studied many technologies like autonomic computing, xml database, data partitioning, and so on. Can you guess the result? Of course I passed the exam!
This morning, I put some pencils and my new camera into the bag together and went to the exam place. After having the test, I confirmed that I passed and rushed to LAZONA Kawasaki Plaza to take some pictures.
Christmas lights seem to celebrate my win! ^o^!

A card for Hero Arts May challenge (birthdays). I stamped the Dogwood with brown ink on vellum, coloured it at the back with pencils and then used a stylus to add the white highlights. The flower centres were covered in Flower Soft. The birds were coloured with Twinkling H2Os. I spelled the word ‘congratulations’ in Swedish with alphabet stamps. TFL!
Supplies: Hero Arts stamps: Dogwood (S5362), Two Birds (CG152), Fancy Scrolls (CL116), Printer’s Lowercase (LL762); 7G and MM patterened paper; lace; pearls; DMC floss.

Today (1.1.2012) my friend is marrying her sweetheart. I invited these Black Drongo (Dicrurus macrocercus) couple for the wedding. They came in black attire, perfect for the great occasion. When she (No.1) saw the bride coming, she shouted in excitement "the bride is coming! She looks so beautiful!!!" No.2 (he) said, "Now, Darling, don't shout. In your excitement you'll fall from the branch. Sit still. We are special guests. We should behave properly". Both of them watched the ceremony. Ah.... now, he couldn't contain his excitement. He shouted "Congratulations, friends!"
The marriage is real, the story is fiction...lol

This is the first photo I ever edited and probably will be the only one, I guess I'm not good at it... Normally I just get my photos straight off of my camera, but when I took this photo, I didn't know that the date would be printed on the photo... I really disliked that the date, just by being there, was messing up my whole photo. So I edited it and now I hope you didn't even notice...

On June 30, 2012, Engineer Craig Willett stepped off the lead locomotive of Amtrak No. 8 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, ending a 42 year career on the railroad. Congratulations, Craig! I hope you have a great time in retirement. Here Craig is running F40PH No. 357 on No. 8 at East Hastings, Minnesota, nearly twenty years ago on November 9, 1992.
Finally a new pattern finished! I've had this baby stitched for awhile but hadn't formalised the pattern until today - hooray for holidays!

Seen here passing along Poseidonas Avenue in Pafos, Cyprus on May 25th 2017 is Graysand Shipping (Exclusive Wedding Bus) MCW Metrobus DR102/70 LBT 114. It was new as West Midlands 3106 (G106 FJW) in November 1989 and was exported to Cyprus in November 2012.

The Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Cincinnati Reds today, to end the regular season with the best record in all of baseball, and a franchise record 97 wins. Players and coaches exchanged hugs and handshakes after the game. Now they get five days off before beginning the National League Division Series on October 4. They will face the winner of the Cubs/Padres Wild Card Series.
