A barley lunch with Gavin at Mill Street. This beer was amazing, the first cask conditioned beer I've ever tried. No carbonation, smooth as silk, warm and amazing.

This is a pretty heavy conditioning/age job. Note the unique, dark mahogany color. Did this one very dark and uniform. That's not dye that darkens it...it's mostly the conditioning oil.
I don't "beat up" the metal parts any more. The "fake rust" mostly just fell off, and I do not want to be responsible for inducing the real thing!!!
This kitchen had a lovely but well worn original cast iron sink and needed a new countertop for the existing cabinets. The original maple floor had been buried under two layers of linoleum.
There is some remodeling going on in my building at the moment...part of this process involves the addition of a new HVAC system...thus, there are many times when the air flow throughout the entire building is pretty poor...so I use my trusty little fan that I've had for almost 5 years now...
