Das lokale Eisenbahnmuseum in Bayerisch Eisenstein stellt über 20 Lokomotiven und Wagen im Originalzustand der Jahre 1876 - 1955 aus. Ebenso Dienstwagen der damaligen Eisenbahner befinden sich im Originalrestaurierten Rundlokschuppen aus dem Jahr 1876. Man kann die Ausstellungobjekte nicht nur bewundern, sondern auch anfassen.
The local railway museum in Bayerisch Eisenstein exhibits over 20 locomotives and wagons in their original condition from the years 1876 - 1955. The company cars of the former railway workers are also located in the originally restored roundhouse from 1876. You can not only admire the exhibits, you can also touch them.

It's really an unseasonably warm late Winter with temperatures up to 18 C. Quite amazing. And that weather brought out lots of insects.
Here's a Marmalade Hoverfly; if you look at its wings, for example, you will see they are entirely in mint condition. Nu sight of wear yet. Amazingly beautiful; and she's happily collecting pollen on Crocus.

Due to my health condition, I am unable to hold or stabilize a camera for extended periods of time. Additionally, using a tripod has never been enjoyable for me, as it would cause pain when trying to position it correctly and constantly bending over to check the viewfinder. Consequently, I have chosen to explore digital AI artwork as an alternative. I understand that this may not be everyone's cup of tea, as it diverges from traditional photography. However, I have always granted myself the freedom to exercise artistic license and pursue whatever brings me joy. Currently, digital AI artwork fulfills that purpose, at least for the time being.

Before knowing the weather condition of the Himalayan region we should understand its geography. The Himalayan region covers an area of 2,250 km with an average width of 200 km.
The forest belt of the Himalayan region consists of Oak, Rhododendron, Birch, Pine, Deodar, and Fir. And the monsoon season in this region lasts for mid June till the end of September. The Himalayas influences the meteorological conditions in the Indian subcontinent to the south and in the Central Asian highlands to the north to a great extent. It acts a climatic divider circulating the air and water system to a great extent. Because of its altitude and location it blocks the passage of the cold winds coming from the north to the Indian sub continent thereby making India's climate much more moderate. It also influences the rainfall pattern in India. The combined effect of rainfall, latitude and altitude largely influences the forests belts in the Himalayan region. The rainfall is mostly recorded during the monsoon time of June to September but it decreases as you travel from east to west. The snow-capped ranges of the Himalayas stretch 2, 250 km from the Namcha Barwa to Nanga Parbat on the Indus. The range extends from east to west up to central-Nepal and then takes a southeast to northwest direction.

Chuck and Edie Janisse are the wonderfully friendly and knowedgeable innkeepers in this very cozy B & B near Killington and Woodstock, Vermont. While there are loads to do in the area, the Inn is a real attraction to cyclists. It's great for a relaxing and aesthetic get-away. The Inn itself is in excellent condition. This is the side of a barn on the property.

With the air conditioning on full blast on this sweltering June, 2002 afternoon, a former Conrail C39-8 leads NS 19K through Claypool, IN, on the Marion Branch. This scene looks quite different today, with the grain elevator gone, several less-used crossings removed, and a new connection track between the former NKP and the Marion Branch where the elevator once stood.

UP 7929, 8249, 6242 and DPU 7882 wheel 93 empty crude oil tank cars (plus one buffer car) westbound at mile 22.75 between the sidings of Eisele and Plain on the Moffat Tunnel Subdivision. It's 4:14 p.m. MDT, and the sky is full of wildfire smoke from Alberta, a condition that has plagued the Denver area for days. Was able to spot this dude in the woods. Hand held shot at 500mm in low light condition - thanks to the VR on the lens with 1/20 sec.
Beautiful custom 1953 Chevy Bel Air at Hot August Nights. Note the classic window air conditioner on the rear window. Old cars and cruising is more than a hobby in Hispanic culture, it's truly a family affair.

I don't know who this cat is or where he (I think) lives, but he's become a frequent visitor to the bottom of my garden. A cat's miaow is normally quite short, but this one takes a deep breath and launches a l--o--n--g LOUD miaow at me when he sees me. He always wants food, although is quite obviously someone's pet and in lovely condition. For a long time he would miaow and then hiss, but recently he's become more relaxed and now walks up to me and biffs my leg. Dizzy tells him off if he gets too close, but otherwise seems to tolerate him being around. I'm sure I'll be hearing his dulcet tones again this evening. :)
