A 'concept' keyboard developed in 05'-06' by Microsoft and Carbon Design Group.
If this had been developed into a full product, it would have been one heck of a keyboard.
Who says Microsoft doesn't innovate?

After signing in, users would see a welcome message on the "Home" page and a single call-to-action. The welcome message would provide more context around how QuickBase could be used and the call-to-action would direct them to creating their first application.
Try to guess ALL the cars here. I photoshopped out any distinguishing marques and words to keep you guessing.
Finally the descriptions are added on the Gibson Mandolin pages. Just a few images need to be taken to finish. These instruments are somewhat expensive and were photographed as they arrived at Folk of the Wood. Some are rare and images provided from Gibson will have to do. This Mandolin Catalog concept was created in InDesign 2.0 and Photoshop 7.0 back in 2003 using an iMac G3 and OS 9. Each spreads file size is around 135MB before exporting to PDF. A full catalog of all instruments in Grayscale was chosen and this concept never went to press.

UPDATE1:
I went in and re-did the main and DP logos, they are now fully functional vector images! Once, they were text, and while the overall shape is very similar to the reference text, there are a few minor modifications. Took an additional 2.5-3 hrs.
ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION:
Did it all in one session with a couple breaks...total of about 4.5 hours. The interface of this particular design is closely modelled after the work of machine56 [link] and schakalwal [link] , as well as style influences from humanIMPRINT (drum n bass record label, featuring Dieselboy) [link] and russoturisto [link] . All incredible artists, I am trying to learn the style as well-- often what I do is look to the influence pieces for reference and then go wild on my own piece.
Of course, the music behind this piece needs to be mentioned as well-- I started with Koop's "Waltz for Koop" looping in the background, then switched to a DnB mix from DFunk & Hyde's Funked Up Radio, and finally, one of my all-time favorite jungle duos, jazzstep pioneers LTJ Bukem and MC Conrad.
This deviation is a visual interpretation of aural stimuli.
While this isn't a 3D piece, it is featured in this gallery because it is the concept art of a 3D piece that I worked on as a long - term project. The next step was to create an anatomically correct template to work with.
The more we try to be how society says what is acceptable and unacceptable the more we lose DIVERSITY, UNIQUENESS, DIFFERENCE, PERSONALITY, and SELF. For women we are constantly reminded that our natural selves are not good enough, so in order to be good enough we torture our bodies, diet, or starve, exercise, or be “fat”, do your make up or look “ugly”, Sexualize yourself or be “alone”. Society does not have the right to define BEAUTIFUL, define UGLY, define NORMAL, or set the standards. The more people follow societies guidlines the more we lose ourselves, dont let SOCIETY define YOU!
