This male Western Bluebird was one of many moving through the Glenwood Valley of Klickitat County in late March.

Throughout my six mile hike at Conboy Lake NWR, there were often 10 or more of these small dragonflies on the path in front of me. This one came up on a perch with a distant background and enticed me to do a photoshoot of it. This was take at 1/50s handheld at 800 ISO f/16 and at 700mm on a Canon 100-500 with a 1.4 x TC on an R5.

CSX Q015 drags the stacks through Conboy interlocking (back at the furthest well car) on its way through the village of Quinsonia. Long Summer days and some Armor Yellow on the point had the proper buffs out along the Lurgan Subdivision for some rare Golden Hour action.

This photo was taken after the sun had risen and illuminated the trees and melted the frost away.

Driving around Conboy Lake National Wildlife Refuge, in Central Washington, there were clouds of grasshoppers flying by in certain areas. This one migrated right into a chipping sparrow's beak.

Barns late on an October day near Glenwood, Washington just outside Conboy National Wildlife Refuge.

Drove an hour to photograph one of my favorite barns in this area, but sadly, it had collapsed in the past year. There are, however, other beautiful barns just outside of town, such as these.

I heard his cat-like sound which drew my attention and patience his direction. I only see them in WA and OR when I cross over to the eastern slopes of The Cascades. This was at Conboy Lake NWR.

Last one. I was quite taken with the cabin. Here again you can see how the joists were notched into the logs. Also, the addition, a kitchen, was added at a later date.
