I found the invoice for our first computer in the closet and brought it back to the store. It's dated 12/8/90. I was six years old at the time, and I still remember sitting in their first location playing with MacPaint.
And the computer? A Macintosh LC with a 15 MHz processor, 2 MB of RAM, and a 30 MB hard drive. We also got a 12" color monitor and an ImageWriter II dot matrix printer. Last time I checked, everything still works, although I might need to run to Staples for a new ribbon if we want to print something.
