The last two images here were generated online using an application called Night Cafe Studio. They too are very beautiful images. The title is the prompt that I gave the system to create the images but once again, I only feel like an art director and not the artist responsible for the actual composition. This was all done by the computer as a result of my remarks but I did not decide on color, placement, or style other than to chose watercolor as the medium. This is going to be a long and tedious legal battle that will eventually decide just who owns the copyrights for AI generated images but at this time it is not decided. It is fascinating to me, and when the resulting images are what you wanted, it is very satisfying. Far too often, though with Nicht Cafe, in particular, I am left wondering what I need to do differently to get a better outcome.
In the moment I have a client who is undergoing a chemo-cancer-treatmend. Instead of waering a wig she want that I henna her bald head with flowers. She loves in particular hibiskus and so i created for her this design in which the hibiskus is prominent.
This henna-mehndi design belongs to a serie, I created out of khidab paintings i saw in Yemen 2006.
I drew them with Freehand MX or Illustrator on a Mac
You can buy/download each pattern as a single PDF copy at www.henna-und-mehr.de/de/bestell5.html (German) or www.henna-und-mehr.de/franz/bestell5.html (French)
When I have designed 20 patterns of them I will sell them all together as a book.

Ball Cam is an innovative camera-in-a-ball that Lizzie Sykes invented. She uses the cam in collaboration with dancers to produce a series of highly original dance/video pieces in which the dancers themselves are able to control the camera. These are photos of 'Compass' - a live perfomance event by Olu Tawio and Lizzie Sykes that took place at the exhibition.
ARTIST STATEMENT
"At the core of my work is the moving image. Other dynamic forms I work
with are dance, landscape and recently sound... combined with video. I love
the concept of cameras. The physical, immediate, sometimes playful nature
of the work means that now and then I need to create cameras, or bits of
cameras, to achieve the response in myself and an audience that I’m looking
for.
"Ultimately, the films are all collaborations that evolve from a response to an
initial idea. That starting point is the beginning of an organic process where
I develop and devise an idea, one that often changes out of all recognition by
working at it physically, on location."

This Spider-man 3D model was created using Autodesk Maya and rendered with VRAY. The model is based on the black costume that Spider-man sometime wears.
