Toronto, Ont. Nov. 8: The Great Canadian Game Show offered something fun for everyone.

For those into games or hobbies like me, it was well worth the trip up to the International Centre, by Pearson International Airport this weekend. There were contests for Scrabble, chess, pinball, table hockey, Halo and rock-paper-scissors, as well as Star Trek and Canadian Hockey Hall of Fame trivia.

The 2009 Hobby Show, which was held over the same weekend in the same space, provided a multitude of vendors, from model airplanes to radio-controlled helicopters to comic books, Magic cards, jigsaw puzzles and collectors of stamps, coins and even reptiles. Is collecting reptiles even a hobby?

I doubt if there is any more satisfying weapon in any first person shooter than the flame-thrower in CoD: WaW (except maybe the cat-boomstick from Postal 2)!

One of the most fun things about BlizzCon is all the awesome costumes.

Think of Cosplay, eSports, and (for the first time in 2016) Comic artists and a huge marketplace.

Kids playing with the Wii

I took this particular screenshot because it seems ridiculous that a) this person could steal the Staten Island Ferry b) it is considered a national treasure and c) people would be grateful it was returned. Just a thought...

Fantasy Art and Portraits showcases the art from fantasy computer games. We feel Art Lovers shouldn't have to buy and play games just to enjoy great art. It is our mission to bring the art of computer games to Art Lovers who might otherwise miss it.

And because computer games offer the chance to enter the artist's vision, play around with it, and make your own pictures, this is also a site for Writers looking for cover art and Roleplayers looking for portraits for their characters.

Drop by and have a look now!

If you like fantasy art of all kinds, come follow our blog!--We introduce fantasy art *every day* (and not just computer game art).

She's a pro - really a good model, she looked into every camera with the same intensity. So don't thank me, I was just there to capture it :)

I took this screen shot in order to compare the quality of game graphics between Heroes of the Pacific and Battlestations Pacific. The idea was to show the abysmal flight models of HotP as compared to the moderately nice aircraft models in Battlesations - but my plan was thwarted due to the very nice rendering that is produced when screen shotting in the camera replay mode of HotP!

Honestly - it doesn't look this good in single player play!

Disclaimer: Don't ask me how this happened, but taking a screen shot in the 'Reply' mode improves the look of the game ten fold! It doesn't look as good as this during normal play! (IMHO)...If it did it would be an OK game, instead of a crap one!
