MDF is notorious for sagging. The chair opening was the only spot that didn't have a leg nearby so I wanted to support it somehow, hints the span of square tubing. I simply drilled some holes in it and screwed it down along with a lot of glue. I also picked up a cable organizer thing from Ikea for 10 bucks.

For about 10 days total and for maybe a half hour each time, the morning sun comes into my apartment at this time of year. It doesn't even touch much of anything. Today I did think it looked sort of neat when it splashed down on the right hand side of my computer desk. The only think I moved or changed was the top page of the orange note pad which had all manner of notes on it.

I used some 1/2" birch plywood to mount the legs to. I didn't trust the MDF on its own. The screws are mounted all the way through the ply and about a quarter inch into the MDF. Don't forget lots of wood glue.
