Computer generated image using Painter Classic. Scene from a memory of my schooldays in 1941 depicting a fight after school at the back of the shops in Dovecot

Meritum Paint Pro allows you to have finer control over digital doodles. Here's a few of the better ones I've done as of late.

One of those hard to get swirls I was talking about.

created in Meritum Paint Pro.

I have no idea where I come up with the titles for my doodles, so please don't ask 'cause I just don't know... o.O

Entropy is the measure of disorder within an isolated system and is based on the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics which states that the distribution of energy will become uniform over time.

We intuitively know that heat flows from hot to cold and that a hot bath will cool to warm quickly but remain warm for a long time. What we may not realise is how important our basic understanding of these properties are. If energy flowed from cold to hot this would mean that the entropy of the system was decreasing, which would go against the 2nd Law. In effect Entropy says which order things should happen and tells Time what way it should travel.

The larger the different between the energy levels the faster the transfer of energy. This slows down as the temperature equalises and will stop when they are the same. This literally means that without a difference in energy, nothing would happen.

I had fun making (by trial and error) the curled edges.

I like how it feathered out at the end.

The striping was done by pinching the saturation repeatedly.

Similar to the tension settings in fancy rings; where the gem is set in such a way that it appears to float.

This is me playing with... Fyre!!

Fyre is a computational program that can create some really nice looking graphics. Still trying to figure it out.

Where does the tube let out? It doesn't; it just loops back into itself.

Pretty cool, huh?
