This is the keyboard of Daryl's laptop, which I usually use because Daryl is always on the desktop. There are a lot of things to like about this computer--it does have a fast processor and a really nice screen--but it can be equally annoying.
One big design flaw? The numbers on the top row of the keypad are done in orange. So you can't see them in most situations. Gah!
(PS: This shot was taken with my Fuji F10, which is actually new to me... my old F10, which I like to keep in my purse at all times, was having many problems, and I saw a used one on KEH cameras for SO cheap, so I snatched it up. I'm really happy with my purchase.)

Some of the students learning how to use a computer. during computer classes at the Jackson District Library Carnegie Building
Tinkertoy computer from the long-gone Boston Computer Museum.
It's not really in focus, but it's one of the only photos I have of it.
I tried by putting the laptop in this box but I still can't see it very well. This would be an awesome place to blog but I guess it's not gonna happen.
i hooked up my TV to my computer... windows vista knows what to do with it, but unfortunately BF2 does not. guess it wasn't meant to be a monitor
Governor Kay Ivey was the keynote speaker during the luncheon portion of the Alabama Computer Science Education Summit, Wednesday March 14, 2018 in Montgomery, Ala. During Governor Ivey's remarks, she will also be announcing her "Governor's App Challenge which will be presented and judged at next year's summit.
The Governor's App Challenge will be a statewide contest similar to a science fair for computer science and coding. Judges will be selected by the Governor's Advisory Council for Computer Science Education. Rules will be announced in June 2018. (Governor's Office, Hal Yeager)
Yeah, so, I have this thing where I think the pinnacle of strategic computer gaming ended with Red Alert 2. Master of Orion 3 was a disaster, Alpha Centauri was too busy, Emperor of Dune too hard to follow.
So, here I am, kickin' it old school with the Windows 95-compatible Star Wars: Rebellion.
I enjoy the game, even though it crashes about once an hour on XP, has at best average computer AI, and is about as graphically advanced as a recipe box.
Plus, almost every gaming magazine gave it average ratings, so I actually had to pay $20 to get this on eBay because there's just not a lot of copies in circulation, it seems.
But it lets me build fleets of Rebel ships and stick it to the ol' Empire. I can overlook a lot for that opportunity.
