Jan 05 Today I got to watch a scary blue screen as my computer scanned for memory errors (there were none) so I could maybe get my Blu-Ray SOFTWARE to function properly. No dice as of yet! I did the scan ON PURPOSE, and there were no problems with Windows, before anybody gets too excited. Emily and I also went to dinner with Rachel Felipe and the commies for Rachel's birthday. Fun time!

This is the computer area at the Pine Manor Community Center where I once tutored an ESL class.

They were giving away old PCs at work and I got one because I thought maybe it would be useful to... I don't know, run Word and Excel? And I thought it would be easy enough to rebuild or add on to if I were so inclined.

Too bad it didn't come with an operating system and I was sure as hell not about to purchase Windows. It'll go off to the computer recycling place.

My old computer's heat sink and fan are completely clogged after running continuously for several years. Did I mention that I own cats?

A reasonable facsimile of a desk has been found for the computer on the kitchen table.

During computer fair CeBit 2008 Arcor, a German telephone company, presented some awesome acrobatic show. The acrobats were people from Canada, the Group "Les Vitaminés" and the artists Julie Lavergne, Geneviève Bérubé, Geneviève Drolet and Boris Arquier. It was really stunning and made me visit the Arcor pavilion several times.
