Again, this is not the heater core, it is the condenser and radiator. On another site, people were talking about cleaning this with a water hose -- inside the cab. I'm skeptical about that. I was thinking Shop Vac and toothbrush. I ventured my hand back toward the firewall and encountered a lot of debris, leaves and twigs and bugs.

They weigh about a million pounds each. Standing on your head to disconnect it and then try to lift it out of there, is not an option. The condenser coil has to be removed and then re-installed after the compressor is replaced.

Ok, here is the end result of deleting the A/C compressor on my Jeep. The compressor, bracket and idler were removed completely. Alternator was flipped over and secured using the bracing bracket to secure it. Idler pulley was then reattached to brace using a ford water pump bolt and a couple nuts to complete. Next I added a used grooved pulley I found in the shop. It was attatched using the same method as the upper idler. Topped it off with a 710k6 belt
