Tackling the Complexities of Digital Sovereignty in Europe: How are businesses and policymakers approaching data governance and security?, December 7 2023, Brussels
Ok, here's number one in the series Birth, Life, Death. The renderings in this album depict the cardio-chaos of a human being pre birth. The data was recorded during a medical routine control. For the math geeks: The line follows a beautiful complex trajectory through a nonlinear attractor.
This project shows my very own heartbeat chaos. i recorded my ecg data and came up with these perspectives. i lable this type of visualization HUMANCHAOS
Bit of experimentation here. Tried laying out loads of CD's on the table, hoping the light would refract, but the slight failure explains why I did rubbish in Physics at school.
Still, was nice to try something "original".
If one is to journey too deep into life itself, only non-living things with ulterior complexity, yet mystical simplicity, would disprove with whatever definition 'life' would be given.

I found this telephone pole really interesting, and decided it was the perfect subject for an image focused on complexity. I decided to go with black & white for this photo to emphasize everything else going on in the frame – there’s dynamic tension with the wires and pole, a triangular element in the positioning of the transformers, the lines and curves of taut and loose wires, and lots of textures.
Title: Colors of Life
The complexities of life begin with the irreducible complexities of embryogenesis, which this painting attempted to capture. The monochrome tone of the fetus depicts his or her unforeseeable future—sheltered by their mother’s nurturing environment. The bright and abstract shades of colour illustrate the hopeful outlook of an unknown future one holds for their child.
Muni asks riders to use two separate machines to get the proper fare. Actually, I didn't know that you can use dollar coins at the turnstyles – when using coins I've always dumped in a bunch of quarters. So I guess of the two, it's less bad that the dollar coin machine is out of order. Certainly not good...
