I toyed with converting this shot to black & white, but I enjoyed the red and green too much to let it go! I think that the nature of the complimentary colors is part of what makes this image work as complex. Half of the dynamic is this color palette, and the other half is the contrast of textures as they weave in and out of one another. There’s a lot of play between the organic matter and the geometric lines of the building.
Je sais pas pour le gaillet flou de devant. Quelque part il me gène, quelque part non.
I don't know what think about the blurred Galium in foreground.
A Tangle of wood. Although fairly bland in color, in black and white the structure is highlighted. the chose of a vertical was obvious.
Every year Pimp Daddy Santa Claus chooses four very special elves and one EXTREMELY short Russian man to compete
in and win ESEA's Counter Strike: Source Invitational League. In return for all the hard work put in and the constant
mouse clicking, Santa provides each elf with raw materials for toy-making next year. The Russian man receives a
complimentary bottle of absoluut vodka and is sent on his way while Pimp Daddy Santa makes off with the cash.
However, this year the Russian man would have none of it and decided to keep the earnings for himself. The Russian
man to this date has not been identified, but it has been rumored that he is currently employed by Valve as the
voice actor for Team Fortress 2's 'Heavy Weapons Guy'
Complexity 2 - I love the texture in this shot. thought it was cool how the cracks in the road created shapes that were bigger outside of this pothole but were similar to the smaller shapes on the inside of the pothole.
A plane nose is opened to show the complexity of the parts behind it. From the Qantas Museum in Longreach, Queensland
Yes they are stones and sealife at low tide however, I am intrigued with the texture and the complexity of colour. In my opinion mankind in his sophistication can't create this.

Interactions matter. To understand the distributions of plants and animals in a landscape you need to understand how they interact with each other, and with their environment. The resulting networks of interactions make ecosystems highly complex. Recent research on complexity and artificial life provides many new insights about patterns and processes in landscapes and ecosystems. This book provides the first overview of that work for general readers. It covers such topics as connectivity, criticality, feedback, and networks, as well as their impact on the stability and predictability of ecosystem dynamics. With over 60 years of research experience of both ecology and complexity, the authors are uniquely qualified to provide a new perspective on traditional ecology. They argue that understanding ecological complexity is crucial in today’s globalized and interconnected world. Successful management of the world's ecosystems needs to combine models of ecosystem complexity with biodiversity, environmental, geographic and socioeconomic information.

Wolfgang Brauner, the Honor's College Academic Advisor, is also a German native, vegetarian, Political Science professor, and a self-proclaimed DJ. Wolfgang teaches his Politics in Natural Disasters class using a method called "Think Maps." He uses them instead of Powerpoint presentations because as Wolfgang said, "they help make connections." "Think Maps are an overview, but also show complexity, a sense of real world complexity," said Wolfgang. "I guess that's one of my many weaknesses," said Wolfgang, "I expose my students to too much complexity too fast."
