I remember the horse hair seats that doubled up as beds on overnight runs. I remember the big heating controls in the shape of a cross, the steam hissing and the mist rising from leaking pipes on the outside of the carriage. The overhead baggage shelf. Did you ever climb up into it and use it as a bed ? The small bulbs that gave a warm glowing light. The condensation on the windows when it was cold outside.
Very happy days indeed.
Meatball refused a new box so he got his old one back and was very happy. Little One has to stay between Meatball and Critter since those two are starting not to like each other.....

Windows are an important part of street photography for me. On the one hand, there are the interesting reflections, but also the confusion that sometimes arises and has to be resolved first. Fenster sind für mich in der Streetphotographie ein wichtiger Bestandteil. Zum einen sind da die interessanten Spiegelungen aber auch Verwirrungen, die es manchmal gibt und die erst einmal aufgelöst werden muss. I liebe es. Перекриття над центральною та бічними навами склепіннями ділиться на 9 осередків. У кожному осередку зображується велика композиція – по три в бічних та центральній навах. У бічних навах зображуються один за одним шість Днів Творіння, причому оповідання починається в південній наві в найближчому до вівтаря компартименті.
У книзі Буття говориться, що Бог творив шість «днів». Ідеться не про буквальні дні по 24 години кожен, а про періоди невизначеної тривалості.
Після Дня третього, що на склепінні третього компартимету південної нави, оповідання про створення Світу продовжується на склепіннях північноі нави і розвивається у зворотному порядку – від західного компартименту до вівтаря:
- День четвертий, створення світил, напис: «І МОВЛЕННЯ БГЪ ТАК БУДУТЬ СВІТИЛА НА ТВЕРДИ НЕБЕСНЕЙ. ДЕНЬ ЧЕТВЕРТИЙ.
Бог зробив так, що сонце, місяць і зорі стали видимі з поверхні землі (Буття 1:14—19);
- День п'ятий, створення морських й летючих створіннь, напис: «І МОВЛЕННЯ БГЪ ТА ВИВЕДУТЬ ВОДИ ГАДИ І ПТАХИ. ДЕНЬ П'ЯТИЙ»,
Бог створив морські й летючі створіння (Буття 1:20-23);
- День шостий, створення людини, напис: «І промовив Бог створимо людину за образом Нашим [і] за подобою. День шостий.»,
Бог створив наземних тварин, а також людей (Буття 1:24-31).
Усі композиції будуються схожим чином – у правій частині зображується абсолютно однакова у всіх шести випадках сидяча фігура Бога Отця з творячим жестом руки, а в лівій частині – те, що творить Бог, залежно від дня.
Отже, розповідь про створення світу розташовується обручкою і оперізує весь храм по периметру.

Während der Reisende mit dem Laptop nur virtuell Dinge ansah, hatte ich die Vorstellung zu malen und richtig wild in Farben zu baden.
While the traveler with the laptop looked only virtual things, I had the idea to paint and bathe wildly in colors.

A very old Pakmor body placed atop an older 320 with a recycle compartment for Portland Disposal. Very cool that they put this on a newer chassis to keep it around. Not usually big on Pakmors, though this one is hands down my favorite body style. Never managed to get video, hopefully some of you Oregon filmers will be able to as this truck is far from ordinary.

HMM! Inside this hand carved wooden box you will find a marble made of lavender quartz. It rolls around as you tilt the box. You can put anything in the box, but getting inside the container is secret. There are no seams or hints to indicate how to open it. It's easy once you know how, but most people give up trying to figure it out. The precision is amazing, but with some pressure, you can slide the top along tight grooves to reveal the contents. The box measures 2-3/4” high, 2” wide and 1-1/2” deep. Purchased in London 1984.
