The 11-ounce NRC Space Blanket can be folded into a pocket-sized package. But during a field trial at near-freezing temperature, our outdoors consultant wakes up shivering after three hours and switches to a sleeping bag.
First attempt at water drops on a CD/DVD. Used my extension tubes for some and just dedicated macro for others. The colors you get from a CD and DVD are totally different so try both. Lots of fun on a rainy day.

This little tractor has a lot of power. It can lift over 4,000 lbs. in it's bucket & it can break the ground with 6,000 lbs of force.

Another awsome Sport Compact event at WSID.Loads of cars made the trek from all over Aus to compete.Almost capacity entries on the track & a great selection of hot cars on show.
The presentation standard of Sport Compact drag cars has really amazed me so far this year, with a lot of the top runner track cars looking like prestine show cars with candy pearl paint jobs,tastefull air brushing and graffix and tuff drag spec rims all round. these guys have definatly stepped it up a notch!
Took a whole lot of photo's throughout the day, but unfortunatly forgot my memory backup so was limited to 4G worth of space...Ahhhrr.

Taken at the 2010 Floriade festival in Canberra ACT. Have gone most years though only caught it this year on last day and many flowers were past their prime. Decided to take only my long telephoto this year to try and gain a different perspective, hence the 'compactness'
