Washington, D.C. – December 18, 2012: The U.S.-Turkey Business Initiative hosted Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, president of The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and a delegation of Turkish private sector representatives at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. TOBB represents the largest non-profit business organization in Turkey, representing the country’s 1.4 million companies. The visit follows the recent signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between TOBB and the U.S. Chamber, which launched a new initiative to promote expanded bilateral investment.
