Carlton And Teekee re-commitment ceremony

The typical, conventional nine-to-five work is the most stable and surefire way to earn a decent living—or is it?

Mahendra Moonstar is one of the few who dared to think differently. He abandoned the certainty of an office employment for the chance to explore Indonesia on his own two feet, one island at a time, from Sabang to Merauke.

A bold decision indeed. One that demands a considerable amount of wit, perseverance, and most importantly: commitment.

Getting a few sets in despite its being 46°C in the shade. Warm, one might say.

This ingenious machine is one of several which use one's own body weight - in this case the fly press lifts the seat. Very clever - and they're just littered along a recreational walk.

My best friend tied the knot! I think that at this time there is more tolerance towards their community, but still to publicly define their commitment as a couple takes courage. They may have challenges ahead, but they are blessed with great family and friends. I love her for who she is as a person, not because of her sexual orientation. That is one of the major problems the society faces, the acceptance of people for who they are. Instead, many settle to "fit in" to a predetermined mold and what does not fit means that does not belong or does not deserve an equal treatment. What I saw that day were two individuals in love, promising each other support, company, commitment, and patience.

Fortune Global Forum 2023

November 27th - 29th, 2023

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

A NEW ERA FOR BUSINESS

Since 1995, the Fortune Global Forum has been hosted by the editors of Fortune magazine in great cities on the dynamic frontiers of global business. The Forum creates a valuable opportunity for the CEOs of the world’s biggest multinational companies including Fortune Global 500 members to engage in discussions that not only identify best practices but also offer a common roadmap that addresses complex global issues.

A redirection of global energy flows and the remaking of geopolitical alliances across the Middle East have recently shifted the world’s attention to the Gulf region. And no better driver of this momentum exists than the UAE, a powerful player in the global economy, a leader in sustainable development and entrepreneurship, and a leading destination for trade, tourism, and global convening.

On the heels of the famed Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and on the cusp of COP28, the Fortune Global Forum will spotlight the UAE’s leadership in the region, its commitment to environmental protection and sustainability, and its distinctive role as a global innovation and trading hub. Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the UAE and the largest emirate, is home to a vast array of businesses at the forefront of innovation across many sectors, including financial services and tech. In addition to world-class infrastructure, Abu Dhabi offers an accessible location, a competitive tax system, and a multicultural environment that attracts talent from around the world.
