The undercarriage of a Comma Butterfly! This Comma landed on our patio door which gave me a chance to photograph it through the glass with wings outspread showing it from a different viewpoint. You get a clear view of the white comma marks on the underside of the hindwings that give the species it’s name.
Our patio door is a definite favourite with the insects in our garden.
Many thanks to all who take the time to view, comment or fave my images.
