I went to the city of Utrecht with my son yesterday and stopped by my favourite comicstore Blunder on the Oudegracht.
I've been coming there to buy comics since I was 18. I was very happy to find 2 missing issues of the Avengers and I bought my son his first comic namely the Batman Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles adventures!!!
I couldn't leave without paying a visit to the Lego store. It's now the only Lego store i can visit because the one in Belgium is located in the province of Antwerp that is now labeled an orange area concerning Covid 19. If i do go there I have to stay in quarantine for 10 days!!!
So sadly I can not go near Antwerp anymore for now.... so sad...
I was lucky enough to find the Harry Potter figure pack which has an alternative facial expression for Cho Chang which I plan to use for Sigfig Mom.
I was surprised that in this store there was a BAM stand where a store employee would help you get pre-made minifigures with an accessory!!!
so I think that's the way it's going to be for now as long that there is still Covid going on...

A sign on the ceiling of a shop in Glastonbury warning those entering that a zombie lies in wait within. Whoever looks at the sign further away may feel less worried!

Two Kinds of Wisdom
Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. 5 THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW:
1. Like it or not, we are ALL sinners: As the Scriptures say, “No one is righteous—not even one. No one is truly wise; no one is seeking God. All have turned away; all have become useless. No one does good, not a single one.” (Romans 3:10-12 NLT)

This part of Williamsburg has a lot of Italian hertiage, which has twindled over the decades. Some backyards still have fig trees in them, and some businesses remain.
This bakery became a comic book store, and it's great that they kept the old signage.

Of course I love this little guy more than life itself!! When I came up with this idea, I knew that it would mean a lot to another special guy in my life. This is my husband's fave comic book store. He recently started taking our son here to buy Spiderman comics. While the hubby was at work today (with no idea I was going to do this) we headed over to the comic book store. It's a surprise in honor of him too. Notice that Jackson's shirt says "Son of a Superdad!"
