What can I say... I did not take many photos this year, but we had the most amazing con!!
Day 1: Hit the floor, attended the Toy Story panel, then the Community panel, followed by the Mad for MAD panel, all of the artists signed a Alfred E Neuman print for Hendrix and he is even featured on their blog: www.madmagazine.com/blog/2014/07/23/mad-at-comic-con-2014
We headed to the House of Blues to see our favorite band The Aquabats! play. On the way we ran into Gary (BabaBooey) from Howard Stern and Jim Rash from Community. We stumbled in the door at about 1:30 am.
Day 2:
Started over at The Hilton for the Uncle Grandpa panel, then we checked out all the outside stuff, Godzilla and The Simpsons. We were also given tickets to the Bob's Burger signing, Hendrix met Matt Groening, creator of The Simpsons and he even drew a personalized Bart for him, Jason ran in to Metallica's Kirk Hammett on the floor. We bee-bopped around then ended our evening at The Aquabats! panel, where we were surprised and thrilled when Robert Smigel as Triumph the Insult Comic Dog moderated, we had a chance to speak to him before the panel, he was so cool, and it was my highlight! Day 3:
Jason had bought tickets for Hendrix & I for Sesame Street: Conversations for a cause at Nerd HQ. While cruising around Nerd HQ before the panel we ran into Joey Mazzarino and Murray Monster and had a great conversation with him.
Day 4:
Con-Weary!! We headed down to SDCC, hit the floor and did not leave until they shut it down!
Ming-Na Wen has a laugh with Chloe Bennet and Brett Dalton while being interviewed by Ryan Penagos and Lorraine Cink about Marvel's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."
